We are a family operated business that has over 80 years of woodworking experience among us.  We have been building custom cabinets locally for the past 20 or so years in the Bucks/Montgomery/Lehigh county area of Pennsylvania.  We also have an extensive range of work experiences among us, including auto restoration, plumbing, electrical, and mechanical system installation and maintenance, sales, and management.  This unique combination of experiences, combined with our fascination with magnets, is what inspired our form of artwork.

We started slowly, experimenting with some neodymium rare earth magnets obtained from our friends at K&J Magnetics, using crude jigs with clamps to test the viability of such designs.  Once we had our proof of concept, we went on to create some basic designs that impressed everyone that first saw them.  From this, ArtMagnetic was created.

We have been crafting bigger and more elaborate pieces ever since.  The pieces you see offered on our site have been a few years in development, and represent some of our best work to date.  We are continuing to experiment and create new designs using the finest hardwoods from around the world and the incredible power of neodymium magnets.

We decided to offer our artwork online, as it provides for the largest possible audience.  We do have a few one-off pieces for sale in local galleries and are exploring other outlets for our designs. 

In many of our art sculptures we incorporate many different species of wood, from common hardwood found here in Pennsylvania to wood found all over the world. We try to bring out a natural beauty in every piece by using different wood types for contrast. Over the years we have become skilled wood artisans, and are thoroughly enjoying our new creative venture.  Unlike cabinet making, there are few wood artists, and none that we know of, that do the type of suspension art that we do.
