Illusion is a piece that initially appears simpler than it is. A large covered magnet is suspended upward from the base. This magnet is attracted to a covered magnet which is in turn attached to seemingly nothing by a thin sheet of plexi-glass that is supported by the piece’s four pillars. The magnet embedded in the plexi-glass gives the appearance that it is floating.
